Which Spark Plugs ?

I have a query with spark plugs for my car. My MA9 has a D15Z3 VTEC-E engine and am wondering what is the best spark plugs for this engine and what othe people are using.

The cam cover states using NGK ZFR5F-11 however the EPC also lists ZFR6F-11 which I think is for the later D15Z8 VTEC-2 engines or does this plug work better.

In the past the car has been running well on NGK BKR6E-11 plugs however these are not the right ones for this engine.

Now NGK also lists the iridium ones for my car the ZFR6FIX-11.

So my question is out the 4 which ones would be best suited for D15Z3.

Any other 1.5 owner what are you guys using ?

I have never found the NGK lists to be innaccurate so far. If they think you can run ZFR6FIX then I would do it- they work well on the z8. If Honda list ZFR6 as oe I presume they updated them during the production run of that engine; I expect the differences are small. ZFR's are not that different to BKR's used on non vtec D's- as you have found out.

Right after some more detailed research turns out the right plugs for the D15Z3 engine are as follows as according to the official workshop manual:

NGK ZFR5F-11 - For all normal driving

NGK ZFR6F-11 - For hot climates or continuous high speed driving

The cam cover also lists ZFR5F-11 so I shall be buying these tommorow.

A shame I spent £30 on the iridium ZFR6FIX-11 ones just 2 months back !
