moff Posted August 30, 2012 Share Posted August 30, 2012 does anyone no what might be wrong with my mb6 symptoms are :will not got into 1st gear smoothly from standing start when cold or reverse :i can get all gears when driving :the gear selection seems rough not clunky or grinding but not as easy to select as they should be :my gearbox isnt making any noises and i havent noticed my clutch slipping etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hickster Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 x2 - change the MTF there should not be a huge difference in gear selection from cold to warm. moff Posted August 31, 2012 Author Share Posted August 31, 2012 ive changed the gearbox oil bought it from honda dealer to be on the safe side but its still doing it its all gears from cold ill go to use car first thing on morning and it wont go in any gear smoothly i have to push force in but once i set off it goes in all gears but i can feel friction its not gliding in like it should now does that help anyone ?
