A pillar leaked fixed!

Just a note that might help some people who have been suffering from wet patches on the roof lining at the top of the A pillar trims.

I removed the headlining and checked for leaks around the sunroof and windscreen and all was fine.

After that I pulled back the weather strips on the roof and found 2 very obvious cracks in the seam sealer where the strips end at the front.

I neatly filled the gaps with silicon and all has been well since. It’s nice to get into a car that’s not wetter on the inside than it is out!

I wish I had checked those strips first before removing the roof lining!

Please delete. There seem to be tech issues causing double posting. I keep getting this message and when I reresh it posts twice.
