im trying to figure out which catergory the mb6 goes under, for example the eg6 is a obd1 and the 98ek is a obd2a and the 2000 ek is a obd2b anyone have any ideas?

thanks,, its just that i had a aem ecu for a obdb, but still had to get aconversion harness made up

as with everything else the MB6 is a freak

Its OBD2, (nearly all cars after 1996 are) but the engine harness is OBD1 including the ECU plugs; hence you can just plug an OBD1 ecu in if you trim the "A plug". I think its because the egine is a slightlty detuned Acura GSR they just used the same harness.

If you've got someone making a harness just give them the pinout

I thought you sold all your turbo bits and were now N/A

yes i ive sold most bits still have the ecu but cant use it on my na build as im obd2a now and the ecu is obd2b and i cant be bothered getting a conversion harness, wish honda would stop changing things

I've got an OBD1 ECU with a Demon Board and Neptune RTP licence in it if you want it £300 shipped, you'd still need a OBD1 - OBD2a conversion harness though.

To get the AEM to work did you just plug in a OBD2b harness and that connected right up the the MB6?

i had a custom harness made in the states so they fitted together
