  1. Actually it takes no time at all to get used to it. It would be difficult to compare to any of the above although I part exed my Rallye for a G60 (also LHD) which was running about 220bhp and that was f*cking rapid. But like Krzys said spending £10k on a Golf it would have to be spectacular. I'd be tempted to go for something very unique like Tom's suggestions.
  2. Only a very few of these cars have actual obd2 connectors, I think it may only be the MB4 but it's definitely only the very last of the production run (year 2000 cars). If your car has one it will be on the passenger side of the centre console, if not you'll have to bridge the pins on the connector like the rest of us, it's in the passenger footwell just under the glovebox, far left.
  3. You can and I certainly don't have massive plates. I do need to achieve quite an angle.
  4. LHD is actually not that bad to live with, especially if it's not your daily, I ran a Golf Rallye as a daily for about a year or so with a 40 some odd mile round trip commute. You get used to it.
  5. 3rd is good fun but 2nd is better.
  6. Wow, probably best you were asleep.
  7. Sounds right, 3rd is 96 I think.
  8. Thanks mate, I might let you ring it this time. X2 can't see it either but know it's
  9. A mk2 cavalier seat? How many times did you fall out of it?
  10. Sorry to hear that mate, that sucks.
  11. And are you doing the rocker the same? Looks good.
  12. If that's the case I wouldn't worry too much, mine does this too if I'm too light on the throttle. Might still be worth bleeding it though as it only takes 5 mins and you'd be surprised at what comes out.
  13. I was going to do this with mine but I'm running out of places to store stuff that I may never get round to.
  14. I would say bleed it first to see if that makes a difference.
  15. That sounds good and saves you the bother of selling it.
  16. Nicely done. I think the going rate for a kidney is about £5k, not enough for a Camaro.
  17. Yeah, I wound some of my pre-load off to, does make them a bit more comfy. As long as you've ended up paying anything less than £150 for a complete leather interior I'd say that's a win.
  18. Can't believe you sold it already, that was a hell of a quick turn around.
