just picked new inner & outer cv boots, quite differcult to finda parts place that actually stock them, having second thoughts about these coilovers, it looks great but already ive hit the metal toe eyes on the front 3 times and scraped the front mud flaps on everything lol
-
not too low tho, i keep scraping my mud flaps on the dips in the road lol
-
I miss that colour proby best factory for a honda! looking gd dude, not sure on the wheels colour i would of gone a bit darker but looks like a top job.
-
Lowered the back by 5mm ride is better, did another trail fit with the rims, i moved the rim out on 1 nut to make it straight but i think they are too aggresive, it will be like my old vtis, looks great but drives like crap and the camber wears the tyres out in no time. So rims will be up for grabs!
-
Yes but at least u can fix them and still go to the pub after lol
-
Hell no mate i hate bmw, mercs, audi's, and general german cars over priced and over rated!
-
Est delivery was 3-4 weeks! Many annoyed messages sent last week lol
-
Finally after waiting 5 weeks the New GAZ adjustable shocks came for the tina to go on the front, cant wait to fit them!!
-
Well obveriously i looked at honda's but i need a deisel and the only thing is the 2.2 deisel accord but they a bit to expensive to run, i only picked ford ad they are easy to sell as most ppl dont know what cars are gd lol
-
Put my toolbox in the car tonight, the ride on the rear was better, so guess i need to 20kg bit weight as i think the sprongs are topping out the shock arms. What i could do it make spacers for the hats but i wont have a machine to use As im going to be travelling up and down from worcester at the weekends i need something a bit more newer, reliable, deisel, been looking at new cars but gees its such a con and waste of money, lease cars are even worse. So looking at at 06 to 08 2.0tdci focus's hopefully with decent mileage & cruise control. Everyone ive mentioned this too just keeps saying 'get a golf' but i really dont like them, i dont like passats either but they are quite a gd price now hmm..
-
haha they were hard to get! I better order my arch roller if i want my wheels to fit :s
-
yeah i know that now lol i dont know what im doing about camber, i have my old front dc2 adjustable camber arms but not rear adjustable ones, worth fitting them ?
-
Coilovers fitted!! Went for a small drive and well it was very loud & bangy & scrapy (mud flaps) the fronts are fine but the rears are terrible, i turned the adjusters all the way to soft and still every little ridge or raised bit on the road it picks up, i rekon its coz they are would upto almost the top and spring is too strong dunno might try all the way to hard. Also i had to make the brake hose brackets, turned out ok, out of ally plate I found that front wasnt level so raised the passenger up by 20mm and the drivers by 5 mm, looks gd now Before: After:

this is the blurb for the GT option pack: 'GT Pack. The driver will benefit from extra convenience features such as front and rear parking sensors, dusk sensing headlamps, rain sensing automatic wipers and electric fold door mirrors. Integrated Garmin satellite navigation (including five years of free map updates) is added to the Honda Connect infotainment system. Audiophiles will be attracted by the addition of a CD player and a premium eight-speaker, 320 watt stereo system upgrade.' So it doesnt have a cd player as standard ? The only thing in the list is the speakers id add & maybe folding mirrors, that lot is an extra 3k!

im gunna try and seek in a test drive tomorrow, well i hope my near by dealer has one
-
Just got back from dorset, no real problems with her, there was a small judder at 70-80 i think one of the wheels isnt balanced properly. On the way back we stop for lunch in salisbury, when we finished i found a fn2 type r parked next to me, quite a few spacers but he parked next to me honda rep So i fitted the rear coils, typical the lower arm abs bracket bolts snapped off, quite often ive seen them cable tied so i followed suit Wound almost to the top, Also the rear arb brackets have dried too. Doing the front tomorrow, looking gd but already i think my wheels are gunna be a squeeze, deffo will need some rolling!!
-
When the R35 came out i asked at the dealership and they said no deposit needed! lol its actually quite affordable but the money loss is just too much but still id like a test drive, personally i dont like the fn2, the ep3 is the best i think. Black or gunmetal all the way!
-
its the same thing lol
-
Hmm i was thinking today it could be a big drop like half, yet another thing to put me off new cars, i havent been fond of the new style civic and it should be a proper 3 door hatch but i really like it lol quite tempted to do a test drive.
-
Just had a look at the new civc type R info, despite being 5 door looks great & its turbo'd! 0-62 in 5.7secs and top speed is 167mph. 40mpg on 306 ponies. Now it is 30k but what would the price drop be over the first 5 years do u think ?
-
The thread have copper grease on them so they look rusty, ive gone for the rat rod style on the springs
-
Coilovers bits came and rear arb links, coilovers are done now, threads greased and ready to go on! Modded the C spanner fits better now and i think only the rear shocks are damper adjustable hmm..
-
Bushes are in! Rear coilover threads done, waiting for the new parts, nearly there!
-
yeah must be, it looks great on the new wheels, rota's or rays right ?
-
Did u sell the white wheels ? Maybe someone has ramdomly the same wheels u started off with but a different vtis lol
