  1. I did buy that stopleak stuff but i think its gone beyond repair. I might just try i since i have nothing to lose. Its been a good few years its been leaking and now ive got so much play on the steering. Mind you its interesting you say that coz its not p**sing out. Ive got a patch on wherei park the car.

Had it checked out and i think its worth just changing the whole rack and everything else like track rod end etc.

Ive had the car 10years and im guessing previous owners have never changed the track rods, ball joints etc. Needs a mini overhaul

  2. Hi there

Was wondering has anyone fitted a dc2 rack before. Does it make any differences and is it a straight swap. My one is leaking at the moment so thought might aswell upgrade it.

  3. To be honest mate if you have the time and patience just wait for bargains to pop up and buy it all seperatley. Ive been doing it very slowly and picked up a few bargains. This will give you more money to spend on the things that need care and attention like the turbo, wastegate etc.

Theres a few people on civiclife doing that and have made awesome kits buying it seperatley

  6. Just installed my blox manifold and have come across a problems and was wondering if anyone else had the same problems and how they solved it. As the IACV sits lower on the oem manifold the plug that goes into the sensor on the IACV is very low down and won't reach. Is it a good idea to cut it and extend the wires?

  7. Cheers mate. I read on the other thread that the part code I need is 4024-140. I got sold 4020-140. I'm trying to see what I can do with the euro carparts customer service team. Never again am I buying off their performance line.

  8. Ye man I posted on your thread too. I'm absolutely livid. Here I was thinking there's something wrong with my shocks and all along it was the wrong springs. I shouldn't have expected nothing less from euro car parts.

I have sent their customer service team a email and see where it goes. I bought the springs months ago so don't know what the options are but still got to try hey?

I'm more p**sed off because I bought a set of wheels and they're stored up now because the back is too low.

  9. Hello chaps

I know it's not the best option but coilovers are on the list, I've had eibach springs on the car now for a few months but from the first day I put the eibach pro lowering springs on (30mm) on the back has dropped more than the front.

I put the springs on the south mimms meet day last year and someone approached me who also done the same thing and said that's what happens to mb6 rear shocks and apparently ITR shocks will fix this. Just want to get more opinions on this before I order the shocks.

    Thanx
