    Can only suggest checking anything you disturbed when you took the rocker cover off mate. Plugs tight still? Leads in the right order?

    I've always felt a 40 profile tyre on a 16" or 17" wheel is too small/harsh for the bumpy roads.

    Nothing wrong with upgrading whilst replacing! That's probably how mine will be, change stuff as it needs doing rather than replacing serviceable items.

    Nice one! Amazing what maintenance can do if it's been neglected by the previous owner! Was your mount ready for changing then? Has it made much difference?

    I think it's about that! Those measurements I mentioned to you were when I had raised it after they'd dropped so if the car looks a little high, then at least you could leave it to settle and see if it's still too high afterwards

    Yeah the smaller profile etc usually means that even with bigger wheels the total circumference is roughly the same. You just notice more bumps etc because of the sidewalls being smaller. The width will affect grip though and wet weather behaviour.
