  1. actually.........on second thoughts. sod it, standard s9b. if in doubt, don't do it. £600+ is a bit expensive. Thanks James, i owe u one dude
  2. that would be the sensible thing the mb is my play car so it doesn't do a great deal of miles. as someone once told me, "you only live once, so live it like theres no tomorrow". also about to get my first house so i'd better do it now while i have the money to do it lol.
  3. Deep pockets...........i wish deep over draft lol.
  4. Hi people, The lsd in my gearbox is pretty much knackered, so i want to replace with the S80 because of the better ratios. I'm not sure which is best to go for though, the 4.4 or the 4.7 final drive. If it helps i like accecleration more than top speed. Can i have some other peoples opinions please, i don't want to spend all that money to find i got the pants one Thanks dudes.
  5. what size is the centre bore on the standard wheels? Thanks
  6. Thanks Krzys. I know what you mean about the 4x114. Searching for galant wheels on ebay bought up a much bigger selection for 4x114 though. I'm really torn between 16" or 17". If i've worked it out right for 17" i'd need 205 40 17, with a small wall size i can see the ride being a bit nasty on bumpy roads. Are the looks worth the ride comfort..............possibly
  7. Hi people, I've read a different threads on this topic but its just confused me even more I've found 2 sets of used alloys i like for my mb6 but i am pretty much clueless with off sets and width limits. Both sets are 4x114.3, 7x17" ET42. I've got standard suspension at the mo but i will be upgrading to mgzs suspension at some point soon. My brother in law has a zs180 and its on 17's as standand, so I guess 17's on the mb should be fine. Would that be a good guess???? I would love a set of these, http://www.wolfrace.co.uk/asia_tec_deta ... wheelID=87, but i can't find them with 4x114.3 Thank you.
  8. It was something to do with the twin filament bulb, not sure how but it seems the filaments were somehow making contact from time to time. Replaced the buld in question and so far seems to be ok. If that doesn't solve it though, its the bulb connector on the wiring loom. Thanks for the advice.
  9. Basically, this is the run down. When I press the brake pedal on my vti, the side lights come on as well including the dash lights. If the side/headlights are on, the brake lights come on with them. I guess the wiring somewhere is connecting the lives together. It doesn't do it all the time either which makes this even harder to try and find. Has this happened to anyone else and is it a common thing? If so where is the best place to look for the problem wiring? I've checked the visible wiring going to the tail lights and connectors but no joy. I don't like driving the car with it doing this for obvious reasons, night driving with the brake lights on doesn't seem the best idea. Please can anyone help me. Thank you
  10. I think that will be my next purchase then Did it make much of a difference to the back end rad? Thanks everyone for the input.
  11. Whoops, i forgot to mention its the rear strut brace i was after. DOH. Will that still fit? fingers crossed
  12. Hi people, My first post on here Just wondering if anyone knows if an upper strut brace from an itr dc2 would fit the mb6 vti. Thank you
