Ive just bought a set of HEL braided brake lines for my MB6, and the company are going to make a braided clutch line for me too. Only problem is I don't have a gearbox (or clutch lines) to give them the correct dimensions. Can anybody on here tell me the dimensions of the standard flexi part of the clutch line? And possibly get a picture of the ends too. Thanks Steve

I was planning on using an aftermarket aluminum rad, or a standard DC2 one if funds dictated so. Thanks for your help fellas Steve

I'm getting all the parts I need ready to fit a B18c6 into my MB6, but I'm not sure which hoses to buy. The car currently has no engine or rad, so I'm going to buy a set of silicone hoses, but does anybody know if the hoses on a B18c4 take the same route as on a B18C6? ie: if I buy a set designed for the 1.8 Vti, will they still fit the B18c6 motor? Steve

Does anybody know if the Tegiwa DC2 master cyli der brace and engine torque dampers for the MB6 chassis?
-
Yep, £4.20! R reg Black MB6. Missing engine, box, ecu and driveshafts. Everything else is present and working. Don't think I'll ever buy a cheaper car lol

I've just bought a car with no engine, box, or ecu for £4.20 off ebay, so I thought I may aswel start with the best of the B18's

I'm going to be running a B18C6 motor though, so shouldn't the P73 work fine with that engine?
-
So if I get a JDM P73 ecu, that will run the engine and I won't need to change any keys or ignition barrel? The jumper harness, do you mean OBD2 to OBD1 conversion? Steve

Im just trying to figure out as many problems before I start the work as possible, and the next thing that's puzzling me is if I fit the B18C6, the first 3-6 months I will be running it on a standard UK DC2 ecu. Does this mean I will need the ignition barrel to go with the ecu? Or will it be just a case of getting the existing key reprogrammed to the new ecu? Also, just to confirm, will a uk spec B18C6 and Ecu be a simple plug in and play into the existing MB6 loom? This is my first attempt at an engine swap, so I'm trying to learn as much as possible before I start. Thanks Steve

How long did it take to get the ecu mapped and set up properly? -
Thanks. It's a bit strange acquiring parts before I've even got the car, but it will make the buisness of modifying alot quicker.

Does anybody know if the DC2 titanium gear knob fits onto the gear stick of an MB6? Steve
-
Thanks. Let's hope the engineless car can be had for cheap

Just a quick question. I'm going looking at an MB6 tomorrow with no engine. The plan is to stick a B18C6 motor and box in it. I just need to know what engine/gearbox mounts I need. Do the Civic mounts bolt straight to a B18C6 or do I need DC2 mounts? Steve

We'll have to wait and see. I just don't fancy the green trim on the Atr seats with blue on the standard civic rear seats and door cards.
