  1. So the cam clearences are effected by the ecu? Or do I need to do this manually? Is this the same as doing the valve clearences?
  2. Hi, I came across a post on a civic forum suggesting that the ecu in a Honda mb3 has the capability to learn an owners driving style and change performance to suit! Any idea on the truth of this? I just wondered as prior to me, my mb3 has been owned by retired older folk and the car seems sluggish, could this be something to do with the ecu learning their driving style? I am just about to do service on the car, plugs, air filter, oil and oil filter this should hopfully make a diffrence.
  3. Great info thanks I know what I'm looking for now!

  5. Basically what are the things I need to know before bidding on some wheels for my 2000 mb3 1.5 I know there 4 stud 15" but that's all I know for certain and I need tyres so I might as well go for wheels with good tyres fitted!
  6. Will try that however just need to work out which one it is that's causing the light to come on!
  7. The red open door indicator light on my mb3 dash is constantly lit any ideas what it might be I've tried opening all the doors and closing them again including the boot and bonnet and it won't go out even when I start driving the car! Is the sensor the L shaped sliding thing on the door frame? Any help is most welcome
  8. Failing that do you know where the fuse is for the central locking as I don't realy want my battery going flat!
  9. I think I'm going to take the drivers door panel off tomorrow and and spray acf50 around all the lock mechanism as I think the electrics are getting damp in there!
  10. My mb3 has developed A strange central locking issue, open . Close. Open. Close. Open . Close .............all by itself . I first noticed it when I went to go to work today and it was doing it, I don't actually own the key fob as it never came with the car so it can't be that being accidentally pressed, the car has been getting rather damp recently due to the air con drain pipe not being connected on the passenger side! Other than that its been very cold here -2 most of the time! Any ideas what could be causing it?
  11. It's pretty much standard but that will soon change
  12. I joined a while back and realised I haven't put any pics up so here we go:-
  13. I don't believe the two are connected however the concern is mostly with the windscreen could it be the seal or something more substantial?
