Hi Guys,
I recently purchased a 97 mb6 pirates black.
When i got the car it would pull to the right when vtec engages.
But (The scary bit) when you go to dip the clutch to change up she wants to go straight again.
This has to be the worst feeling ever when driving a great car.
So i called my mechanic to get him to look at it.
Surprise Surprise the lower arm bushes had excessive play.
New lower arm purchased and fitted on saturday.
Now the car pulls to the left under hard accelleration and wants to go straight when i lift off.
So on and off the ramps checking steering/wheel alignment/swapping wheels from back to front and from side to side.
All other suspension components are in good order.
Has anyone else experienced this or know anyone the has
Ayone have any clues on what this could be
P.S appologies if this has been covered elsewhere i did hunt through.
Cheers

Finally i managed to get my hand on the manual listed in the forum.
It States to check the following to ensure that the lsd is operating correctly;
FOR THE S9B MODEL FOUND IN THE B18C4
1.Set the parking brake and block the rear wheels.
2.Raise the front of the vehicle and apply safety stands
3.with the engine off apply first gear
4.rotate one wheel by hand and check that the other wheel spins in the OPPOSITE direction.
5.If you can't rotate either and if the other wheel doesnt spin in the other direction then the LSD is faulty.
I will be doing this check tonight to see if i can finally get to the bottom of this.
Hopefully my wheels both spin when in first gear.
Does anyone know if this check is posted in the gear box section?
