I just read this whole thread and then realised this is the mb i see all the time parked beside the asda petrol station in Ards. I've stopped a few times to get out and have a look at her and have to say this car is f***king mint up close fair play mate she's some yoke. Also think you wer trying to sell your dc2 rims on gumtree the same time i was selling mine but your wer looking twice as much lol did you manage to shift them because every tube i had ringing me about mine wer idiots.

Ok so last week i thought id give the car a quick wash. But i got carried away and ended up fully claying, compounding and waxing the whole bloody thing haha. Its so clean atm but that stupid dent on the back right quarter panel is p**sing me of so much :/ Then last night i was a bit drunk and standing at the front door having a smoke and looking at the mb sitting in the drive I started pondering what all mods i would like. Looking at the front i thought all it needs is lowered with some nice rims and fog lights. So with the beer in me i was like F**K it i'm gonna make some fogs now lol. I didnt care if the worked or not as i just like the look of them on the car. So i set about finding crap in the cupboard to do a full on drunken diy job. So heres what i ended up doing I think it turned out realy well lol. Just glad my mate talked me out of taking the grinder too my springs

I think your talking about the silencer and it does what it says it makes the exhaust more restricted a quiet lol. The centre pipe is easy to fit mate are you getting a straight pipe aswel?

Thanks mate i didn't see the point in spending money on a pipe when you have a grinder and welder and some scrap pipe lying about. The twincam in the pic was mine 3 years ago but along came the kids so new baby forced a reluctant sale lol i got £6000 for it anyway so it wasnt too bad. But i want her back

Im wanting some ideas for a set of rims. Im into the whole stanced scene so im looking serious offset and tire stretch. I was thinking a set of rota grids. or gt3's with pink centre when my bank balance looks a bit more healthy. But until then iv got a set of 15" steels sitting and was thinking of getting them banded. What does everyone think

I just put the backbox on and the cut the mid silencer out and welded a straight pipe on it. Tbh i couldnt see why an mb6 cat back wouldnt fit and if it dosnt fit get the grinder and welder out and make it fit not sure how im going to fit the washers yet but if in doubt the gripfill comes out lol

Yep it was a straight fit it took about 10mins so it seems the mb6 exhausts fit the smaller mb's no problem at all. Tbh i just want them on because i like the look of them so i couldnt care if the work or not lol

Cheers pal all i need now is a decat and 421 mani and that will be me happy. Apart from the fact the centre section is rattling against the heat sheild :/ so thats getting cut of later on today

Thanks mate. I got the exhaust of a fella on the civic5 facebook page. He's breaking his vtis so i got the exhaust for £20 plus £26 p+p bargain seeing as its like new. Im gonna get side skirts, rear splitter and headlight washers of him aswell. I was goind to buy the vtis front splitter but i think ill stick with the vti one instead as it suits my car

Thanks mate i got the exhaust last week and putnit on but it sounded the same as standard :/ so yesterday i removed the centre section and cut the silencer of and welded a straight pipe onto it. It sounds a bit more raspy now but not close to how loud id like it
