Good idea and thanks mate My mate runs a body shop so I prep it all and he paints and does the hard stuff if needed and its on a favor for favor basic so don't pay a lot

Seem to have a problem starting the car every so often New battery alternator ok So decided to earth the hell out the car Top mounts have landed Should I paint them ?

Fitted fog lights not wired up yet but much better fit then the last ones Also added new fan warning sticker no photo needed Had to post a photo with my mates freshly painted Euro R in background

Bit of work on the sill tonight So seeing as the car is NEC bound this year need to tidy a few things up Sticker removed off back Make the interior match seeing as won't have the electric Windows fitted and Craig is still refusing to sell me the door cards out the green GSi painted the door cards black for now to match Needed to tidy the fabric up but again the grey doesn't match the black seats so done what I can for now Don't think I did too bad for a 1st attempt Door cards need abit more paint but it tidys it up for now as hopefully will be able to fit electric Windows and the correct door cards at some point

Cams have come

Car ran 132bhp on the dyno yesterday so am happy with it stock power is 130bhp it's 22 years old and engine only has air filter and back box but the manifold is off a civic but not really uprated

roof all done prepped since the mirrors on the GTi wasn't painted i decided to paint them bagged and masked mirrors painted roof painted roof strips painted with black textured Typical r8 problem passenger door handle snapped New one Hole in the manifold Temporary fix on the manifold until can find a new one which isn't easy for a D16 DOHC be easy if it was a SOHC New plate welded in Jap spec brake light One problem fixxed New ones comes up New rad already ordered On the plus Old rubbers was abit worn out so new ones And arm rest all tho I think Craig forgot to pack the insert lol Don't 3 doors look odd without a rear spoiler Holes for brake light Fitted will remove masking tape tomorrow once allowed tiger seal time to set Then I just need to wire it in properly Over all happy with it Far from it still loads to do Better pic car still covered in bodyshop dust How this was keeping the car cool is beyond me Nice new rad Fan swapped All fitted Busy day on the GTi today Foot rest fitted as it's a brm carpet It didn't have one carpet still needs tidying up in places B piller trims swapped Arm rest fitted Boot and fuel poppers swapped to black Side repeaters fitted as old ones was faded GSI front seats fitted Rover centre caps fitted Found this on the bottom of the seats
