  1. Nice build mate!like the way your going with it! Wanting some dc2 rims for mine
  2. Yeah standard manifold and cat atm
  3. Yeah she's pretty clean. I'm looking into getting some 96 spec teg wheels I do like a clean engine bay sonic already removed the ac, would like to do a wee wire tuck at some point too. Don't think I'll put the battery in the boot on this car as the big boot is handy for us.
  4. Think they are aez 16x7 unsure on offset and the tyres are 205 55 16 I think. Would maybe look better with lower profile tyres and some coilovers lol
  5. Yeah the wheels suck lol have a good offset but with the soft suspension, child and buggy in the car it rubs Guy at the exhaust shop had a aerodeck vti that might be getting scrapped so I'm hoping I can get the standard rims off it if he does.
  6. This is the for sale thread for the mid pipe I bought http://www.civiclife.net/board/topic/154613-sold-ekejem1-25in-stainless-exhaust-mid-section/#entry1989302 Was advertised as fitting ek,ej and em1 civics but someone commented saying that with the location of the hangers it would fit all civics 92-00.
  7. HI guys, thought id start a wee build thread on my MB6. Had it a few weeks now and really enjoying it being our family car. Here's some pics that I received from the seller. It already had the headlights painted, grille and horrible aftermarket alloys lol All iv done so far is repair the heater resistor, replaced a broken thermostat and fitted a stainless steel B pipe along with a custom CAS built back box and I made my own mesh grille. The car is to be a sensible family car but il tinker away with it when i can, I have a bandit 1200 that keeps me occupied also Plans are to source some standard rims, sort out the boat like handling and perhaps change the bus like steering wheel lol. Here are some pics of the grille and exhaust, will try get her cleaned and get some better pics up soon.
  8. Perfect tbh guys! I wasn't wanting it too loud as its my missus that uses the car most of the time. I still have the decat that I need to weld the flange back onto which il do on monday at work, this will obviously make it louder but im hoping it will still be ok as it has a silencer in the mid pipe and the back box is pretty long. Id highly recommend CAS to anyone in Scotland who is looking for a custom exhaust, he has done my ek4 and accord and now this back box. It cost me £100 and I got the decat too, so im chuffed
  9. Well went to complete auto solutions in shotts today to have my dc2 back box fitted. Ran into a bit of a problem though... The silencer is too big for the tailpipe to line up with the existing cutout in the bumper. We could have cut the tip of and re welded it with a bend but I didnt want that. Luckily he had a magnex silencer there which was the same length but smaller diameter. So he knocked me up this... Sorry for the terrible phone pics. Its a magnex silencer with mandrel bend 2.5" inlet pipework with a 3" outward rolled tip, nice a quiet and sits well. He also had a old 2.5" stainless adjustable decat lying around thats missing a flange ( that i now have spare thanks to the back box not fitting ) which he gave me for free
  10. As said mate the b pipe should fit no probs! When I tried to fit the dc2 back box to mine it wouldn't go, the guys in the unit beside us have a lot of Hondas so I tried a ek,ep3 and eg back box and the were all too short or fouled the arb. The dc2 was the closest. Saying that, the eg back box had custom piping to make it sit at an angle so a standard one may be similar to a dc2?
  11. Hi guys, just to let you know about my itr exhaust experience. Managed to find a 2.5" stainless b pipe from a civic em1 on civiclife for a good price, and managed to pick up a itr oem back box for much cheapness too. The centre section fitted fine but the back box wouldn't go. The pipe works too short an the rear of the silencer hits the arb and the tailpipe them isn't inline with the cutout. I just refitted my standard back box for now but I'm booked into a custom exhaust place on Saturday to have the itr back box fitted. Getting the the pipe work to the back box completely renewed in 2.5" stainless mandrel bends. Will add pics once it's completed.
  12. I actually found that thread through Google about the dc2 shocks. http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5485-fyi-my-vti-s-with-mgzs-180-suspension-with-updated-dc2-fro/ I'm annoyed as a friend has just scrapped a ukdm dc2 and I was talking to him about the shocks maybe fitting the mb, gutted I never bought them now as it sounds like a good setup. As I said there are a few 120s in a scrappy local to me so il maybe find out how much they'd want for a full set. Don't want the car super low as it's my missus that uses it most of the time, but it does look like it sits well on the dc2 mgzs combo.
  13. Thanks for the input guys!didnt know that. Are all the rear anti roll bars the same?or is it the 180 that's best?
  14. Hi guys, there a a couple of mgzs saloons in a local scrappy to me, they aren't the 180 model though. Does this matter? I was going to enquire on how much they would want for the 4 shocks and rear arb, but just wanting to check that all mgzs suspension is the same. Regards Martin
  15. Nice cars guys! What suspension is on them?
  16. Nice ek4 man! I miss mine. I had a angled jap can,looked sweet.
  17. Just flicked through your whole thread. Awesome car man! Was there much work in fitting the exhaust from the dc2?
