im not a fan of it but it gave us some laughs and the bonnet needed a respray anyway!

1st post updated with pictures of how it looked when I got it. how it looks a little now ( no chalk on the bonnet atm due to rain ) managed to get a parcel shelf although it does have 6x9 holes in it but I will be covering them. done so far Import front plate new rear plate xenon style bulbs ( look yellow still but shine blue? lol ) painted parcel shelf black Sony headunit front splitter ( to spray and fit ) after some cheap lowering springs that will go on stock shocks and some alloys to fit the 4x100 for a temporary thing. also after a roof rack for my bike if anyone knows where to get one, without getting bummed by Halfords.

The bonnet got painted today. It was in a pretty bad shape with dents and deep marks in it. I used chalk board paint! Haha! It's only untill I get a new bonnet so I'm not fussed. It looks pretty pants but it's a laugh. I will get pictures when I work out how to upload them from my phone!

It's still standard....haha. It's so comfy! I plan on keeping it longer now. It was going to get scrapped when the tax ran out. But I've done 500 miles since Wednesday it had one hiccup where it died totally, but it was fine 5 minutes later! I've done 130miles in 1 trip today and will do the return leg in a few hours. I don't feel tired or dreading the drive home! So il show the car some love and make it mine. But no power mods... ...yet.

There may be a way but I want blue dials haha! Just convincing myself I have to change them!

For £15 I wasn't going to argue with him! It still had the stickers saying what things it has on it! Only problem is is that it lights up blue. Now the rest if the dash looks odd, looks like il have to change the bulbs!

With so many turbos around it might be hard to avoid! Td04s and 05s and a tf035 all in the garage lol.

Haha yeh. I got caught last time with the colt! A few breathing mods turned into 9k and 250bhp 280lbft stripped out track car! Then there was the 7k the car cost! Won't go mad on the civic though few things planned but nothing major.

I've finally cleaned it! Looks a bit worse for wear with cracks in the bumpers, scuffs and scrapes everywhere . But it will get parts and painted . Fitted the import plates and got a headunit from a scrapyard but it's a damn good one! Sony with USB and iPod connection. Brand new! When sorting out the windows yesterday and having the door cards off, I noticed it had Alpine E series speakers. I'm assuming these are not stock? For the 1st time in owning a car I may bother with a sound system!

Can't say I've heard of it! Il have to google. As fir the conversion I'm pretty sure I already have some evo 2 hubs in my garage so would try and use them. If not il get some hub centric spacer adapters. Saves buying more wheels, plus I like to swap around lots!

After spending so much on the colt I thought I'd be able to resist! I live at home still and both my parents are into cars so parts around the house etc are normal! Dad has a 350bhp forester and a Subaru mv pickup that's currently having a 2.0twin turbo put in it (500bhp 700kg). Mum has a 320bhp hawk eye impreza and a Subaru svx! I have the colt and now the civic, and my sister has my old 1.1 colt! All jap all modded haha.

Before I picked the car up I said to the mrs "I'm not going to mod this car I'm just going to abuse it, then scrap it when the tax expires" That's gone to pot! Car is a 2000 1.5 sport mb3? In green. 158k on the clock and it's seem better days! To start with I plan to tidy it up and sort a few problems out. I've jut brought it new number plates and a tax disk holder, not much but it's a start. Plans are: 40mm lowering springs 16x7.5 alloys (more on these later) 4x114.3 Hub conversion (more on this to!) Respray/wrap gloss black New exhaust Full leather interior? Tinted windows Lower mileage engine (when the current one dies) So not huge amounts I'm not after power as I have the colt for that. The reason for the Hub conversion is because my colt is also a 4x114.3 fitment and I have about 6 sets of alloys for it! And one set I really like now won't clear my brakes, so I want to use them on the civic. Il get some pictures of te car how it stands tomorrow after it's been cleaned. Il have to look into it and see what I can pick up. Thanks for the advice! Tomorrow will consist of sorting out the leak and flooded wheel well, finding a parcel shelf, fitting number plates, finding wind deflectors, replacing a taillight bulb. It's had more attention than the colt haha!

It's a 1.5. Sport? Think I'm a bit used to my colts handling! Just did a mile in it and it's a bit sloppy haha. Oh well I'm sure a few cheap mods can sort it out! Good tyres would help! Are there any smaller oem steering wheels that are a straight fit? I'm used to a 330mm wheel so the stock one feels like a boat wheel lol.
