  1. Got the wheels to fit! Nothing abit of sanding with a dremel sorted . Heres rough pic will get one when shes cleeeeeeean. This is what my work day consisted of... all work done so here is one of my whips
  2. Little update. Wheels wont fit. The centre bore is too small so will dremel it out.
  3. Hi guys. Not really been doing much. Bought centre section but thats now broke after 4 days. Silly lows. This is how shes looking so far.. nothing really changed got some wheels with mint tyres for 45 quid as i desperately needed rear because of camber..then found out they were yaris sr alloys... A bit of a steal! Before after it was one of my £1 a wheel jobs ago lol. Well its working for me?
  4. Oh you lot! the wine rack Defiantly was a must have deal when bought the car, just removed it Its ok. There was paint flake which I couldn't be bothered to smooth out now There's a air bubble there without fail after every use lol. Never mind
  5. Not much to update on. Just thought id share a quick shot with bonnet wrapped. I got some front forks to try shave some mil off the height up front. Also seen this little beast! Track ready All stripped and roll cage etc. Anyone know who owns? Saving for a new exhaust.. and maybe a couple tyres up front. There a little bold:/ ahwell... More to come!
  6. Fifa?!tut football not a chance! Haha its alright shes been seen too!
  7. My misses helped me do the bonnet. She carried it in and help hold the wrap, the lot! Deserves a treat I think...
  8. Got bored. Had a roll of carbon wrap so thought id play around with it. Done the spoiler and bonnet. I scratched the top of bonnet a couple times >:/ but Never mind
  9. Yes unganden dollars!! Haha nooo great british pounds . More tuning capabilities out the box. Was planning a car save but then this turbo thing crossed my mind so yeah.. ill just get on with saving and see what happens
  10. Thats the One haha. Isit worth it when a 2.2 diesel civic is 730 a year... :/
  11. Turbos got the actuator and dump Valve is an Internal oil feed shouldnt be too bad to do. And yeah mate fuel cut defender. Its a considerable thought which needs more thought atm lol
  12. Hey guys. I know this is either a hit or miss subject, people talking as if the questioner knows nothing so just a head up. I am a qualified mechanic. So please speak in mechanical d terms and not "dumbed" down ok. breaking my volvo lately and thought... what would actually be needed to run the td04 L turbo. Have read alround and seen you can run safe boost to 175 on stock inners. Lets put this aside just want to focus on what I would need to boost ad a start. Inners can be changed later on. so im thinking. Turbo exhaust elbow exhaust manifold standalone ecu upgraded fuel pump and injectors intercooler piping possibly a fcd depending on standalone? driveshafts from b series stiffer mounts (torsional movement cancellation) Beefier brakes and of corse.. the car would this be the basic boost list? Would love the deck boosted as itll be different and icve got a hks filter, some spare piping I could alter, the turbo, could reuse volvo intercooler some way or another, 240cc injectors and walbro 255lph pump. I dont need a terrible amount extra, just want some knowledge on if its cost effective at the stage I am part wise and worth it. Remember, Internals will get upgraded in the future if more power was wanted. Id also run a cooler engine temp to keep heat wear facture down. Thanks guys
  13. I got the filter in. It didnt fit, was too wide and a little short but I managed to find a way of Getting it in it definitely has given some gains... can tell on the uphill climbs. It actually holds or speeds up haha took some pictures of the camber and lows. Its That low Mudguards are scraping on country roads and a credit card wont go under lol. Naturally showing from the lowest point, minus exhaust that thing just scrapes all along and the camber <3 Gunna try get the windows tinted. Its p**sing me off and just urgh. Also I want to fabricate a longer spoiler out of One from the volvo. Recycling and that, or im just cheap? Is there even any bigger spoilers for this decks? :S
  14. Oh right my bad . Guessing you had made flush with the top of the bolt slot?
  15. are they not completely different forks?
  16. thanks. Its not a perfect car with perfect modifications, but it works haha this is some. Just Wonder who Would be cheapest lol. Might even have a go at filing it down myself if there's enough metal above bolt. If not ill see into another way
  17. Ive decised im.goig to buy some spare front forks and get them machine down 10mm. Figured this is less hassle than undoing everything and stripping down the shock to swap for mine, aint nobody got time for that! Once the shocks on now s**t a brick ill do the swap... any know of a decent, cheap place who would do this for when it comes round?
  18. I can live with that for now mate, the back end was way to happy before! Itll be sorted soon
  19. Ok... this is abit of a uh. Shock? ha! Heres before.. And after! And my favourite..some cheeky camber ill get a decent camber pic soon It effin low on he back! I have a feeling the shock is shot. But theres no bounce. Did noticed its movable in the air, the ek is about 6mm shorter, so ill swap tje shocks over to see if its better in the future. Its low enough on the front to scrape the plastics underneath.. so im happy! Quick note. The front shocks are about 20mm shorter on the ek than the mc... I think the springs are between 20-30mm.. so its a good buy in my eyes! Love how low the back is though lol
  20. there brilliany real nice cut off and slight curvature. Only £30 and feel great quality. They just hsve cheapy bulbs in though. Thatll change!Cheers man! It stuck out wayy away from the bumper line hence the two screws on each corner. Something different UPDATE: So done my reach forklift licence today and I passed! So in the spirit of rewarding, I bought some goodies! Which are Hks hybrid filter. Its for a d16z apparently. Box says d16a. But it dont fit mine, so I will chop it down to fit and Rear strut brace. Got told they had a rear arb.. they must of got confused I had it anyway lol. And finally.. rear springs and shocks! From a ek saloon so thought it was a good match! If Anything slighter softer on mine because of weight. I also got these engine mount inserts.. can anyone explain as ive never came across these and what mount they go on? Theres two look like this All in all this cost a whole 100 of my own, great, British pounds in fuel bills. The parts came to £75... cheap! im fitting it all now so, be back with some good news.. I hope!
  21. Not got mucj to update on. Moneys been tight saving for a new toy.. bike or quad haven't decided yet. But I bought some foglights.there aftermarket projector ones which I think look like alien eyes. Pretty cool shtuff. Pre warning-they dont fit the standard moulds but they are inside them Im going to get yellow hid bulbs and 8000k lights, should look coooooooool. itll be slow progress now untill ive finished a course, but good stuff coming!
  22. Thanks for the replies I got the problem sorted it was suspected rack. Grabbed a mgzs180 for £12 with paint still on the track rod ends. Pig to do but ohwell. Its alot nicer and quicker, also lighter recommend this swap highly!
  23. I got the splitter on. Gibe for the old retro look, mainly because I couldn't be arsed to spend hours to get it to fit properly. another angle I quite like it in the silver against my silver. It was a tenner and its on, enough said back to the part's hunt for now!¡â†â†‘→↓

  25. Lots of info thanks guys thought I'd been wasting my time! I have I stalled the locking kit in the past so bill go down that route again if I really get bugged. Anyway, I got a mgzs rack and fitted it... what a pig of a job! But it's a lot nicer and lighter, steering doesn't wonder no more so it worked, sounds very rattly so ill once over. Time to save for lower if springs! Oh also got a mgzt splitter for a tenner halfway done so that'll be a picture soon
