Got the car back today after an extensive servicing. Timing belt, brakes, oils, filters were all done and steering wheel was changed. Annoyingly there is still a creaking noise when steering at low speeds, I'm thinking this could be the bushes now? Immediate things to sort out are the fog lights, wipers and I am going to look at replacing the front seats. The headlight washers have came away as you can see in one of the photos, any suggestions on how to fix these? What has caused them to stick out like this? Here are some pictures, there was a 700bhp NSX in for a servicing after my little old aerodeck.

Lovely looking deck mate, where did you get the cup holders?
-
Me to. I've still got to drive the car from England to scotland in a couple of weeks so hope it goes ok! Might just get the car checked out down here.

Well I picked the car up tonight. One serious concern is a horrible noise coming from the the drivers side wheel area when I turn at low speed. Will need to get it checked out ASAP. Interior is definitely the let down on the car so that will be priority after I get it serviced. No rust at all apart from some fasteners/brackets under the bonnet which I will hopefully be able to replace. Will get some pics up as soon as I get the car cleaned

thanks everyone

Yes to be fair the paintwork is in good condition. Just a pity about the interior, the exhaust, the lights and the wheels! I'll get there eventually though, looking forward to getting stuck into it. Already got some goodies on the way.

Thanks everyone. The car is booked into Automek in Glasgow for a service and full inspection and got a few parts ordered. Who are the traders on here?
-
Cheers mate thanks for that will have a look. It is fair to say it has a "unique" look, plus that v tec engine in an estate

Initial plan is just to get it completely road worthy, planning on giving it a full inspection/service. After that will be tarting up the interior and lowering it a bit. Would love some leather seats if anyone has some for sale.

Yep he wanted £1800 for it, not worth that and it's not what I paid but had a car to trade in as well. Happy with the deal I got to be fair

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. Just put a deposit down on a 2000 1.8 VTI aerodeck with 92000 miles on the clock. The car is in need of some TLC as it has been neglected in for a good couple of years by the looks of things. The interior is really shabby so will be looking to get some seats swapped in from another car, also the fog lights are in a terrible state so they will need changed ASAP. Looks like there is lots of good advice on here so I will do my best to follow it but my first question is what cars are an exact match for this regarding the interior? Can i remove seats from any EJ/EK civics? New to Hondas so please excuse my ignorance, they are quite a complicated manufacturer to get your head round with all the models. Heres a quick pic from dealer but I will update this as I go along.
