  1. I had the same issue after rebuilding mine .it took ages to bleed there's probably air trapped in your abs module .bleed it with the engine running aswel to get maximum effort then go for a spin and try to cycle through the abs a few times then repeat .that solved my issue it took ages to bleed .also be mindful of worn brake pads and discs if they are worn you'll have excessive pedal travel .I changed my front discs and pads and it improves the pedal travel alot

  2. Lol I regularly make sambos on my rocker cover so could have had a spillage ha ha. Car just passed nct (Ireland attempt at MOT) lol emissions were spot on and the car hasn't overheated since, stupid thing time to bin the D and insert B lol

  3. That was the first thing I done was change the thermostat flush the system and fresh coolant and rad cap. Was looking at them co2 testers on YouTube there today think I'll grab one during the week and do a test

Tried a rad weld in the coolant ?

No haven't tried any sealers, I'm kinda against them lol from what I've came across in work of what they do to the inside of an engine block I'm not to keen on them

  5. Think I've got the beginning of a headgasket leak, car never over heats unless driven really hard but will however fill the expansion tank so I'm guessing I've got a leak from a cylinder into coolant passage. Odd thing is I commute the car every day in bad traffic and it never overheats, doesn't use coolant runs perfect it's very strange compared to other bad head gaskets I've seen. I've changed the thermostat and rad cap so far and hasn't helped. Also compression tested it and got 200psi across all 4 cylinders so I'm stumped lol. Should I change the water pump or bite the bullet and do the head work

  6. Thanks lads appreciate it. Will get pics ASAP. Was fitting new cv boots today and went to re do the upper Control arm to the knuckle and the ball joint stud snapped while I was tightening it. Wouldn't mind it's only a month or two old and was only tightening with a small spanner. The joys of Chinese parts I suppose :P:P

  7. Don't bother with any coilovers that arnt specifically for an aerodeck as the rear shocks are different heights an ek shock is a lot shorter than the aerodeck one so even with the coils as high up as they go the rear end will be dumped on its arse with no adjustment

  8. Spent all day today sanding painting and fitting the kit will get some pics tomorrow, nearly cut the tip of my thumb off and I think I've got sunstroke lol :D. Was hard work but worth it. Also found it hilarious at how many different colours the kit was. Originally silver then red then red then pirates black then some sort of plasti dip orange lol

  9. I wasn't always as in love with the wheels but they've grown on me a lot, anything with a dish looks well on an aerodeck

And I was very very nervous fitting the Spoiler and I'm fairly experienced in mechanics. And let's just say honda Ireland are not really up to par with their mechanical skills so I opted to try it myself lol besides in all the times I've had to visit the main dealer not one mechanic or sales even knew what a deck was lol

  10. Thanks lads :)

The elusive mg zs anti roll bar, just fitted 4 new rainsport 3's and the anti roll bar, handling has transformed completely car corners a lot better stays flat throughout the twisties :car6:

:D:D:D:D:D5 doors in vti trim are fairly non existent over here, there are countless 5 doors in 1.4 variant but nobody mods them. My first m was a 1.4 in pirates black with only 30k miles in absolute mint condition

  12. Said I'd start a thread to document bits I'm doing to the aerodeck. Anyways picked up my titan silver 2001/y reg mc1 aerodeck has the 1.6 single cam vtec d16w4. Always wanted an aerodeck seen one when I was about 12-13 and I was in love. As they were never sold in Ireland they are fairly rare over here I've seen less than 10 in my lifetime. Anyways here's some pics and spec

  13. I'm the same if I f**k it up I'll cry if I done it at all uneven it would bug the life out of me. I'm thinking I might cover the area in masking tape and offer up the Spoiler and get a mate to hold it and step back and measure up and see how it looks then trace the outline onto the masking tape with a pencil and measure exactly where the holes are and somehow transfere that to the car ha ha

  14. I know this had been covered but just spent the past 40 mins searching and can't find the thread, anyways picked up a vtis mid Spoiler for me deck and don't want to fit it wrong as I can't see any dimples on the rear of the tailgate like other Hondas, how did people go about marking up and fitting? Thanks in advanced
