civicturbo79 Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Its not to bad mate ,There is onlt 2 bolts holding it on ,just a tight space thats all ,its harder to change the belt than the alternator. make sure you disconnect the battery . civicturbo79 Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 You need to disconnect the battery , go under to disconnect the wires to the alternator , loosen off both bolts from the top , To remove the belt from the alternator ,then remove the top bolt, back under to remove the bottom bolt and drop the alternator down , do this in reverse to fit the new one .
