The replacement looked identical and the swap went well but after fitting I discovered the radiator cap doesn't fit!! The inner of the filler neck on the new rad is too shallow to accommodate the sprung plunger on the cap. So I now have a new radiator without a cap that fits. Anyone had this problem before when replacing the rad? I don't want to have to take the new rad out again so any suggestions on finding a cap that will fit it?

Hi, I've just fitted a replacement radiator from Advanced Radiators to my 1.4 five door as the original was burst. See
