vtiaerodeck
Ok Peeps, Ive got a start-up issue, i thought it was the starter motor, but after taking (with d40) the off 1.PFKL488575 CABLE ASSY.MISSION EARTH 2.PFKL488713 CABLE, SUB EARTH (300MM) - from engine to front brace3.PFKL488274 CABLE ASSY., EARTH - to the battery the car now wont tick over, as my thread below(sorry for opening another topic!), The battery earth lead was loose, took off sprayed with d40 to get the nut off, then put back tight. Same with other cables as were green as bogey, copper and muck pie! Now cleaned up, put back in and voila! nothing! ok, did i kill it with the d40? Any help or kick in the right direction appreciated! I know im green behind the ears..lol...but feels like a jungle is growing behind it too! civicturbo79
Cleaning them up should have only made them better and wd40 would not harm anything . just make sure you have nice clean metal on the cables and the metal for a good contact , used a bit of grease to stop them going green again . if that does not work you have another problem . vtiaerodeck
mate, Ive now got another problem could it be an immobilizer prob as i got no spark after taking the 3 earth leads off. I did that to clean as u know, but now im certain taking the leads off has caused some other issue. Tried to get jumped today, but Zero spark. When i turn the ignition key the green light comes on but no battery or engine light?Any Ideas? Pics below..ps the picture with earth to battery i didnt fix the nut in until after the shot, still no joyIs my key and fob original? Do i need to pair them again??? Man i feel like a lemon. civicturbo79
Its really had to say with out seeing the car , you may have blown a fuse ,if the ignition was on when you were messing with the leads , if you had lights and it was turning over i would say it was the dizzy as they are common to fail , but no dash lights , i would go for fuse or a alarm that was been fitting which you do not have the fob for .
