Ignition switch?

Hey guys,

 

So i've been thinking about doing an iginition switch panel mod. Preferably using the main switch to turn on my accesoires etc, and using the push button to start the engine (of course) now there are a few questions I have.

 

first of all, does anyone have a proper wiring diagram for the lock switch? And also, is there a way to bypass the immobilizer? Since I want to make any use of the key completely obsolete except for locking the doors. Hope you guys can help me out!

Hi Jeroen,

 

I added a couple useful pages from the manual. The manual is somewhere on this forum as well.

 

To pass the immobiliser system perhaps you can insert a spare key into the lock and tuck the ignition switch under the dash. The ignition switch needs a correct key in it to work.

If you tap into the wires of the ignition key and wire them to your button panel i think it will work. This does make for a theft sensitive approach.
