civicturbo79
The b18 do burn oil , but there could be a few options , What oil are you running you need to be using 10w 40 Castrol Magnatec. As thats what honda use . after that valve seam oil seals and after that piston ring or ovel cylinders , How many miles has the engine done . Rich. johngreen537
If it's big plumes behind you when you VTEC it, it's probably oil seals! If it's loosing oil without visible smoke... Change the oil
KERNOWCIVIC
its not masses of smoke its just enough to notice. and it depends on how hot the engine is if i go on a half decend run it does not seem do it. i am running her on castrol gtx 10w40.she never used oil until i did the de cat. the only reason i did it was the cat collapsed and the car wouldnt rev above 4500rpm so spoke to my local dealer and they told me it was the cat,she has got 118000 on the clock which i didnt think was very high to have probs with oil seals etc.thanks every one
