Greg
Just wondering, realistically, what kind of mileage can be expected from a b18? Looking for a VTi or VTi-s after my mb2 was recently written off, but they all have generally 100k plus on the clock? They still good for a few years? Or should i look for lower mileage? Also, what mpg do you all get from the b18? Driven reasonably sensible...
johngreen537
I generally get 280 miles a tank (mainly motorway)Think it's the best part of 30 mpg, but I rarely drive below 90 on the motorway!
jonnyricer
As long as been looked after 150k easy
WilkesyMB6
i read a post on civiclife where some people in the states are getting 400k out of b series lumps!Another thing worth thinking about would be to rebuild one.

prezes
I truly think that 150k is underestimating. As long as the car is serviced properly I do not see a problem in going over 300k
IceMan
I think its just this country where we see cars at over 100k as dead (late Tdi's the exception) , shame :/
prezes
I just can't agree with that. Mine has 137k now and runs sweet. So shall I expect the engine to just stop wqorking in 20k? rubbish
johngreen537
All my other civics, the bodywork fell to peices long before the engine did!My EK coupe, had 170k on it when I sold it. I i ragged the living sh!t out of that for 140k of those miles! and it was still faultless!
