johngreen537
As long as you got the cat in place mate, back pressure should be fine.£10 for 30 miles with a light foot though.... You services it lately?

manaz
how much does it cost from a garage to replace a intake? any experience?
johngreen537
2 hours work I'd say mate. 40 mins to take it off, 40 mins back on, and 40 mins bleeding cooling system.Thats conservative estimate from someone who's already done it, so could be much more time! manaz
cheers for reply, sounds a bit too much to be done by self.
johngreen537
No mate, just fiddly more than anything else! The hardest bit is getting to the bolts at the lower side of the intake manifold, but as long as you have a 150mm and a 80mm socket extention, easily do-able. As I say, it's fiddly more than anything else! Cooland bleed is only because you have to remove the cooling hose running through the TB, so shouldn't be too bad!
