Coupegrale
Hi guysJudging by previous posts, this seems like a common occurrence although I am yet to find a solution to my problem. My key fob decided to stop functioning one day meaning having to use to key to lock/unlock the doors. However at this point the central locking used to work with the key. It wasn't simply a problem with the battery in the fob as I use the fob to disarm the immobiliser so it couldn't be the battery.Anyway a couple of weeks later the central locking stopped working altogether so I now have to manually lock/unlock all doors as the key only locks the door it is being used in.When I press the unlock on my fob I find it makes a sound in the drivers door (the noise it used to make when it was working) without actually doing anything. It is the standard factory fitted alarm/immobiliser so I'm hoping someone has experienced a similar problem and has an answer for me.I have been trying to download the manual from this site unsuccessfully so I'm hoping someone can help! Thanks in advance for your time.Jay
johngreen537
Sounds like the solenoid in the door has gone mate. Workshop manual, you need to read this post, the correct username and password is in there:viewtopic.php?f=50&t=1470
Coupegrale
Thanks John.Didn't need the manual afterall as it was a sticky solenoid. Bought one off eBay and changed it. Fiddly but straightforward and it is now all working again. 1"£££$££"!!
