jonnyricer Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Hi guys if fitted steering column and ignition unit fom my vti to a 1.4 p reg 5 door civic in green. Any way I can only start the 1.4 when put the old key in the immobiliser ring and use vti for the ignition. There is a black box that connects to immob ring can I swap over the black box so. johngreen537 Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 The black box is the immobiliser box mate (i'm pretty sure anyway!)That needs to stay with the right key for the barrel, or just swap the barrels over too!As in, use the original barrel from the 1.4 with the VTI column.
