RS1T Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 Hey, I don't really want to splash out on a proper back box, and seeing as I just got a new ish one there isn't much point. I hear that the perforated exhaust trims change the sound to make it slightly louder, so ideally i'd be looking for one of those. Not too big but not too small either, any recommendations for an M? vtec mikey Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 if your talking about one of those special bolt on exhaust tips i have one on my car as a temporary thing wile i save for a proper system it doesnt make it any louder but it sounds slightly better just make sure you cut off the current tip just leaving enough to clamp it on. my one is just a cheap one from halfords but as i said its a temporary thing. if u wanted to keep it on you might find it would be better if you cut off the old tip completely and welded the new one on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
