jamezzz Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 Hi. My rear lower control arm bushes are spliting on my MC1 Aerodeck. I know I can get relacement bushes pressed in etc, but would the arms be the same as on a 5 door? There is an MB 5 door at the breakers with tidy bushes and I was thinking I could just put them on my 'Deck as an easier option? (assuming the bolts aren't seized etc.) Thanks. stoatman Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 This may not be the most helpful of answers but I think most of the cost is in the labour for bushes so you may as may go new. Stories I have heard about getting bushes replaced in an older car, you may as well just do it once and not need to do it again in a years time.
