  1. HI there, I've not been on here for a while (ages in fact) , good to see you still have the car . Few issues over the last few months, sorry to hear that as I had pretty much zero in 2 years. Hey ho. The rear bushes are an odd one as I had them replaced and should of lasted till the car rusted to bits !. Earth cable, darn it! , if I had read that alot earlier I could of maybe suggested that. I posted a while ago when it would not start one morning after fitting the type r air-box, well it was that stupid earth cable. I put it under the bracket I made and it worked fine, obviously over time this has deteriorated too. Hope its still going strong otherwise though. Oh the centre caps , dont ever overlook them as you could prob get 75 quid easy for a set of 4 on ebay !.
  2. When I had mine done last year my garage - who are trustworthy- said it was a pig to bleed the system. BUt I had no issues with it, maybe needs another going over
  3. My aerodeck did exactly these two things , both cheap and easy to fix. Ruan spot on after that. My therostat was pretty much stuck open , sounds like yours is intermittently getting stuck. I got a garage to do my thermostat though as part of the service. The resistor pack is a piece of urine to do even if you have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever
  4. ATR seats are awesome , just ask Knight for some pics. They look brilliant
  5. Well finally got round to the alloys. I acquired a full set of ebay that were not buckled but in a horrible black paint. Initially I was going to paint them myself and looked around for a place to get them stripped to give me a headstart. A local place wanted 35 quid a wheel just to sand blast them !. Thought that was way to dear and visited a local alloy wheel repairer as h chemically strips them. He wanted 16 quid a wheel. After talking to him he agreed to strip and what he called "prime them ready for painting for 100 quid, thought that was ok and agreed. When I went to pick them up he had actually stripped , sanded and powder coated all wheels (I guess he had some left over from another job) and they looked amazing !!. In the end all I did was lacquer them . Ina massive coincidence they were the exact colour I wanted as I had already sprayed two centre caps to match. Check out the wheels and the lucky match !!>..........
  6. The instructions say to paint over so thats what I have done so far.

    End set rack?

Ive got a full rack in my shed if you want me to look at it or put up any pics ?
  8. Its been a while , a couple of weeks ago I had the cambelt / Tensioner / Balance belt and all auxiliary belts changed (300 quid all in from Vtec Direct , great price I thought). Im currently refurbishing some alloys and waiting for my wurth lacquer in the post. I'llget some pics ups when thats done.
  9. sorry mate , not mine just wanted to share something from my hours on ebay lol !
  10. Firstly I am not selling these but thought that these are such a good opportunity for someone I should share my findings !. They have not even been fitted yet. When I was looking for alloys these are exactly what I wanted but I did not want to pay 360 quid. Ta Da : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Integra ... 4d0113be34
  11. Where to start mate. To be fair its a bit of a different animal , a proper Type R. Dont get me wrong I loved my aerodeck but compared to this its soft , slow and very "normal". The engine is amazing, the B18C4 was great but this has more torque being a 2.2 and the single Vtec kick is a real surge forward . The intake noise is also massive. My car has the typhoon kit and the remus back boxes so the crossover is intense. Handling wise the turn in is crisper and there seems alot more mechanical grip . The chassis is better balanced and its much easier to hustle down the B roads. The gearbox is more difficult to get used to , it needs sharp precise changes to get the best out of it and to avoid any crunches , the aerodeck was much easier to drive generally and is more user friendly. The aerodeck had alot less rust too !. Regards interior space the accord has more front and back and the cabin is a bit of a nicer place to be . Obviously less boot space but its still quite a big boot. The accord seems a little more delicate , oil usage and gearbox issues seem to be very common and certain problems seem expensive to fix. Its a great car though , every journey is more of an event and more people seem to give it a second glance , unfortunately the aerodeck had the whole old man image. MPG wise its actually pretty similar when driven very easily. I can get 35/38 if I try. Very very easy to get alot less than this though.
  12. HA Ha , what do you want to know mate ?. General performance , handling comfort etc ?
  13. Frosts restoration online. Although I usually buy it from their outlet on ebay. Not super cheap but goes a long way and you can apply it directly over the rust (after removing the rough/loose stuff) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-POR-15- ... 588cec42a7
  14. Went on a bit of a rust hunt today and refurbed the mudguards. Took off the passenger side skirt with a look of intrepidation and dread but was happy to find that is was pretty rust free underneath. There was a small patch near the front arch and, after stripping back the front arch liner, I also found a seam of rust. I treated all the rust with por 15. and coated the whole area under the side skirts anyway as they were off. Hopefully this should be ok now for many years. Fitted back the side skirt and fitted one of the front mudguards. I was keen to get a set of these as the paint along the bottom of the door has very bad road rash but is not noticeable luckily from more than a few yards away. I quite like them really , well as long as they stay nice and black ! Now to fit the other three and fit teh refurbed wiper arms . Then move on to re-furb some alloys and then on to some interior bits and bobs !
