Thefamilywagonman
Hello fellow MB6 and other related drivers and associates. I am in desparate need of help regarding the mentioned brake line lengths on my MB6. I confess I have done a very silly thing! I replaced my original lines with some goodridge braided one's and they don't fit well at all! The fronts are stretched at full lock and the rears had to be fitted with the rear hubs raised to shorten the distance and be lowered slowly. I was in a tight spot the night before leaving for a holiday and threw the originals in a pile of rubbish which were then ignorantly given to the rubbish lorry. I have had a fair bit of trouble getting replacements but won't go to much in to that. The long and/or short of it is I need to know the lengths of the standard lines to give to the supplier so that they can sort out some custom one's to fit. I can obviously get a fair idea from the one's I have at the moment but am trying to save hassle as the car is currently in use? (although I'm not sure for how long as its not really safe) So I'd have to take it off the road to work it all out.If anyone has any lying around they could measure for me or any other related info would be greatly appreciated Thanks. Thefamilywagonman
Making some progress have been in dialog with the supplier and he is getting back to me soon. I have also been chatting to an MC2 owner tonight and he had the same issue with lines from hel. Wrong sizes, wrong fittings etc. etc.Bit of a nightmare will get more info up when I get somewhere with this maybe I can help others to avoid the probs. Thanks for the link on those hel lines. I contacted the seller and their answer was to check for fitting before fitment so a lot of commitment there. On into the night...

Didjeridave
I've heard that Hel lines that are stated as fitting the MB6/MC2 both do not fit. I've tried the goodrich myself and they do not fit either. Apparently, the ones to go for are the DC2 integra; there are previous posts about this. I'd be interested to hear if the ones you are sent are a straight fit - I'll probably get myself a set!
