HONDA CIVIC MB1 D16Y3 STEERING WHEEL

Hello there. Newby to this incredible forum. Congs!

I own a civic 5'door '97 mb1 1.6l WITHOUT srs airbag.

I want to fit the steering wheel from the Vti-s or whatever model which has the 4 spoke wheel.

What other extra things do I need in order to fit this wheel?

I mean, do I need hubs, srs reel cable? Or just a hub.

Thanks

im not sure, but i do know if it was me i wouldn't fit one, id get a proper aftermarket one, m civic steering wheels are too big for fun

You are right at that, especially for the factory one, without the srs. It's about 39cm in diameter. I think the factory one with srs is smaller.

Anyway, I hate the look of aftermarket wheels, especially on mb's, which have nice and classy interior design.

So, can anyone else help me?

Do I need srs clock spring + hub in order to fit the factory steering wheel?

Thanks

Yes you will need the srs clock spring + hub in order to fit the factory steering wheel.

Rich.

Thank you very much for your reply.

What clock spring? Exactly the same from the mb1? Do all M's have the same clock spring?

And what about the hub? Is it really necessary to buy one? Or just a clock spring?

Thanks.
