civicturbo79 Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 If you are rebuilding the engine you are best to bore the block and use over size pistons by 0.5 mm to insure and perfect fit the standard piston size is 81mm so you will need 81.5 mm . i would go with a 12;1 piston as there is no point changing them if you are are only uping the compression a little . I would use a type r head if you are after 200 bhp a the standard c4 head would need alot of work to get that sort of power , cheaper way is to use a b16 head and inlet manifold . Rich.
