supertwisted
So, I bought some MGZS 180 shocks from CW some months ago.One thing and another meant I've only now gotten round to looking to fit them. However, from reading the threads further down this page, it sounds like I might be wasting my time.See what you think:Rears marked RPD000120 with blue springs.Fronts marked RNB000360 (I think) with blue and orange springs. No leaks on them, but tbh they don't look in great nick. NIKH25
They look fine to me, a little grubby but that's to be expected.
supertwisted
Yeah I'm perhaps being too harsh on their condition, but I'm more concerned with whether or not they are the right parts given what others have reported.
NIKH25
Numbers on the shocks are the same as I have, I don't know about this spring colour nonsense, everybody's seem to be different and random luck as to whether they're right or not.Best bet is to get some springs for the MB, then you know they are sprung for the right weights. supertwisted
Yeah I did toy with the idea of getting Eibach pros to go on them. That's what you've got right? How do you find them? Ride ok? Any clearance issues?
NIKH25
Yes, that's right. They can be quite hard over uneven/bumpy roads and potholes are best avoided. No clearance problems at all and the ride is less harsh now I have 16's on.
