prisspringle
hi guys ,sadly i had a stone hit the windscreen in the deck which ment that it needed replacing, when they came to change the screen all went well till he pulled up the old glue and some of the car came with it... once he cleared all the old glue off the car i was left with a car with no windscreen and some very unexpected rust! it has gone in 4 spots at the bottem of the screen, one small spot( i put it through with a screwdriver after he left) near the center of the screen on the drivers side, one on the other side of center and 2 one on each side about 2" in from the outsides.other than some some light surface at the top of the screen there isn't any rust on the car, i've been meaning to start a project thread , this seem to be a good reason to get it going!has anyone else had this problem?chris
FREAKBOY
Hopefully I won't need to replace the screen, but hidden rust is always a worry. I'll have a look at mine tomorrow.
Raz s
I have some small rust bubbles at the top creeping out from beneath the rubber seal. Not enough yet to worry me though.I also have a pretty nasty chip so if that gets any worse ill take the window out and repair/treat any bad areas.Get a build going
