Nairnster
Well, I have had to start a new thread as my original one has lots of duplicated and out of order posts ( I presume since the forum update) and I could not edit/delete all posts. As I have also lost a lot of my pictures due to the Photobucket update, I figured it was easier to create a new thread and ask the mods to delete my old one.CAR SPECIFICATIONS:- Model : MB6– Engine size : 1.8 16v- Year : 2000– Colour : Titan SilverENGINE MODIFICATIONS :- removed the resonator box from air box assembly 14-05-2012- K&N Panel filter 15-06-2012- Cold Air Feed routed to fog light blank 10-07-2013- Stainless Catback exhaust with 3.5 inch inward rolled tip 23-07-2013STYLING MODIFICATIONS:INTERIOR:- Type R replica Gearknob 31-03-2012- Type R style Gear Gaiter 03-04-2012EXTERNAL:- Rear Dewipered 12-03-2012- Rear badges removed 23-03-2012- JDM style yellow front fogs 31-03-2012- Carbon Wrapped Fog Light Surrounds 09-04-2012- Smoked/clear side indicators 23-07-2012- Citroen Xsara Mist washer jet nozzles 30-07-2012CHASSIS:- Lowered 40mm on Apex Springs 04-05-2012- Fitted new tyres , 4 x Uniroyal RainSport 2s in 195/50/15 02-07-2012- New front tyres, Khumo Ecstas 10-07-2013ICE:Alpine CDE9870rm with iPod in glovebox - 08-03-2012FUTURE MODS (in no particular order):Lowered - DoneRear De-wipered - DoneStainless exhaust - DoneDetangoed and dechromed headlightsDechromed front grill - Done, and number plate strip - DoneDebadge tailgate - DoneNew alloysAnodised wheel nutsRemove airbox resonator Done - Bwaaaaaaaarr and fit uprated panel filter DoneNew gearknob Done and gear gaiter DonePainted rocker coverWill get some new pictures of the car up tomorrow sometime hopefully after being able to clean it.In the meantime, here are the pictures of the change of stereo:Pics from the for-sale advertAnd when I got her home and gave her a clean after the 500 mile drive up the road
Nairnster
I am going to redo the posts with pictures of the mods done since I bought her. I will try to keep them in order, but cant guarantee anything lol. So first up, I removed the crappy headunit, which wasnt even fitted all the way into the radio slot. I replaced it with my trusty Alpine which I have fitted to every car I have owned. It has full ipod control, and also charges the ipod, so I have an 8gb Nano in the glovebox

Nairnster
Then to tidy up the crappy peashooter exhaust until I got my new exhaust, I bought a chrome tailpipe trim. I know its not ideal, but looks smarter. This To this
