Hi all

Both my track rod ends are shot on my mb2, I've been looking on eBay at tie rod ends (assuming there the same thing) and I'm seeing mentioned that they are also for a Rover 400/45 is that correct?

Would help narrow my search as on a bit of a budget at the moment

Cheers in advance

They are the same mate and as you prob noticed not that expensive i only changed both of mine about a month or so ago (actually i got them and my mechanic who is a rover breaker fitted them) i got mine from a local motor factors, although my friend works for them so i got staff price. Is yours the end that joins the wheel thats where mine went and done a c/v boot aswell with the movement in the wheel..

Yep the ends, theyres a lot of play in both sides, I was quite shocked tbh

If I fitted the 17"s with those like that the knocking would be 10x worse :(

How much did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking?

Going to give unipart and Andrew pages a bell in the morning for prices

i only paid £26.84 for the pair but that was net price. It says on reciept that list price is £17.53 Each so with vat would cost £42.00 for the pair from these guys
