one4all Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 My mates a big car guy and for some reason as brought a MG ZR 2.0 Diesel and reckons it would wipe my Honda Civic MB3 1.5 vtec , what do you guys think??Personally i think cause its a Diesel it would be close but mine would edge it as its a Petrol but i could be wrong .. Roylewaa Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Mmm tough one, I'd say depends which one he has as they're is 2, a 100bhp and 115The L series engine is quite tunable so would depend if it's been tinkered withI would still bet the mb3 being quicker overall as I reckon it will be lighter, maybe not off the line as td's power always comes in a lumpI've not driven a 1.5 vtec but I remember having a bit play with one when I had my Accord (2 litre vtec) and he was pulling away from me, not massively but enough to leave me red faced, clearly due to mine being the fully loaded exec and the size and weight of a barge:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
