onejdmcivic1984
Ive come across Plastidip on this site and wondered if they will work on interior trim pieces? Ive primered the trim pieces with modelling (Tamiya to be precise) primer and sanded it lightly down. I was thinking Plastidip Gun Metal Spray - its expensive but works out cheaper than Halfords Spray and Halfords Lacquer! Is it quick drying and any advice on using plastidip before i commit? Krzys
No prep is needed, just clean it item before spraying, leave it to dry and that's it from what I've read! You can also buy a special plastidip lacquer too!
JayLock
I used some enamel spray, sanded down the bits and 4 light coats later. Huzzar!
onejdmcivic1984
Would it be beneficial to use the special lacquer for the plastidip?
Krzys
If you want a smooth/shiny finish then I would say yes!
