P72 is limited to 115mph btw so would need socketing anyway

mine comes in at 5200 rpm with sk2 inlet/cams nice cruzing speeds, think they are 10.5 :1 on the Sri

beware "basemap" its just a base map

p9k ecu would be ok for now Hondata 300 would be a better way to go :-D

  • 2 weeks later...

Just tried my pk9 oem ecu,as was running rich on my chipped ecu,

=Terrible

that meant a reset in the whole process of the chipped one being replaced,if that works with chipped ecu..

does run better now.

good to know the chipped one is giving the required with my set up with the sk2 inlet/cams 8-)

That and the B18C4 doesn't have knock sensors like the c6 so the ecu would throw a CEL, I would recommend a mapped p72 or p28 but if you have the cash as Andrew stated Hondata s300 awesome bit of kit.

oh and chrome comes with a standard p72 base map for the b18c6 anyway you would just have to get it mapped specific to you build about 300 quid plus I reckon.
