  1. Hi there. I don't know if I'm likely to get a reply on this old thread, but I've obtained and ruined several of these bearings trying to install them, and it would be helpful to find out how someone did this successfully before I go buying/making tools that might not be necessary. I've cleaned up the bore with a brake cylinder hone followed by 2000 grit sandpaper. Before that, I removed a couple of burrs with a Dremel. Then I pushed the bearing with a c-clamp and a bronze bushing with an OD just a little smaller than the bearing OD. The third try looks like it would be okay, but the cam shaft binds when I try to turn it. Do you have any suggestions?
