You can "Tag" members in the forum just like you do on Facebook and other social media sites. Here's how! 1. In the topic you want to let them know about, click the reply button. 2. Now add the "@" sign to your post. 3. Start typing the members username and a box will appear. Select the members name from the box. The members name will be highlighted in blue. (see Image) 4. Then add whatever text you want to your post before submitting it like you normally do. Or no text at all, it's up to you! 5. Click submit. Done! The member will get a notification telling them they've been tagged and a link to the post.

Sounds very much like the master Cylinder is at fault mate. I take it you aren't losing brake fluid?

Our new Video Gallery App is a great feature for sharing your favourite videos. Like the Photo Gallery, it displays all the videos with thumbnails (small images) in a grid layout gallery. Making it easy to browse all the videos the we have here on Civic5! When you post a video in the Video app, it is instantly displayed in the forums main page too (in the side bar, latest videos) so means everyone will be able to see it and view it. It's very easy to use, just follow this simple guide. (mobile version of this guide will follow shortly) 1. Go to Youtube (or which ever site your video is on) and copy the URL (the address in your browsers address bar).(see Image below) 2. Go back to the forum, and look at the menu bar. Click on the "Video" tab. 3. The gallery will open. Click on the "Add Video" button. 4. A pop up box will appear. Click on "Select" 5. Choose the category to put your video in. We chose "Videos". Now click "Continue". 6. Now we add details for your video. First we add a name for our video. 7. The "Media type" box we leave as it is. The Media URL is where we put the URL to our video (the link we copied earlier). The "Add extra videos option we leave as it is. 8. Now we add in text like we would do in a normal post in the forum. Can be what ever you like. 9. Click the submit button....................job done! Your video will be added to the Video Gallery! Now that you understand how to upload a video, there's an even quicker way to do it! Just look at the top of the forum, and click the "Create" button. This gives you a drop down menu for creating topic, video, gallery etc. For adding videos to video gallery on your phone, see this How to guide >>> CLICK

Yeah mate, it's cooll init! It does everything realtime, so if someone sends you a message etc, it comes straight. Before in the old forum, it you wouldn't know till you refreshed the page if someone had messaged you. Bit more like Fb and the like in this respect.

Ok, since we're on a brand new platform, I think we need a list of the most common tips for browsing the forum. You can add things you've found that make it easier and I'll add them to the list below. Searching & Activity: Finding content. 1. Latest Post. When browsing the forum, to go to the latest post on any topic, click on the "time" the last post was made (Circled in green, see image 1 + 2) and to go to topics first post, click on the bit circled in blue (see image 1 + 2)(Click images to zoom in). @powerofdreamsNice one Stephen. Yeah it's just a matter of clicking on the time Grant. Think it used to be you clicked on the username on the last reply showing (on the main forum home page?) Think I might do a wee guide on using this new forum as a lot has changed since the old one.

@KiNK43 @Gel Superb answers chaps! hadn't even thought of that! I'd do both the above checks before messing with the thermostat mate. Most probably find it's one of those!

Coming along nicely mate and fair play for doing all your own welding. I tried it once (at techy at school) and just couldn't do it! Which is strange as my dad was a professional welder for around 40 years! Was always gonna teach me but sadly never got round to it. Loving the pic of the original prototype Micra! I loved them high back seats they had when they first appeared on our roads!

Thats a fair old amount of rust mate Think it's showing now that these cars, even when they look mint, can hide a lot of nasty stuff. Just their age now I guess, although still better built than any Vauxhall/Ford/Peugeot/Citroen and the rest from the same era. Nice to see you're sticking with her and getting her fixed. Liking those new wings, gonna look really different with those on it!

Looking good Karen! Yeah, getting the glue/seal off them lights is a mare, got a set sitting in my garage I've been meaning to do for ages! Re the door, is it the plastic surround around the door handle? should be just a case of undoing the small screw behind the handle then sliding it forward (or back, been a long time since I took a door card off!) then it should come off easy.
-
Oh wow! Thats not a manifold, thats a bit of artwork! Looks amazing mate!! One question....................how many points did you earn with it? lol Whens it going on the car? Sooo much want for that!
-
Really strange one mate. I'd try a new thermostat as they're cheap anyways, see if that cures it. If not, my be more complicated to suss out.
-
Duff switch at the handbrake for sure Easy to replace though and cheap
-
Done and sorted bud! Topic about it in the latest news.

It could be the heater matrix, an airlock in the cooling system. Does the fan work on all speeds? Normally the poor heater would point to the cooling system, usually a faulty thermostat.

What ones you mean mate? The ones in the main forum index, like the cotm trophy photo? I can look into it see if it's possible

That's a strange one! Are the shocks adjustable for height? If not, I'm not sure how you would get it to sit level, or why it's even sitting how it is at the moment. Doesnt make sense? They all sit level when on standard shocks/springs, so you would assume the lower ones would still have it sitting the same? Unless there is a hefty weight difference per side on them, although would doubt that. If there is a significant weight increase on the pass side of these cars, maybe Honda had slightly stiffer springs or shocks as standard on that side of the car? Sounds doubtable though. The garage may have trouble tracking it if the camber is a lot different from one side to the other. But the difference would need to be really big!
