If thats what they cost if you wish to fix the problem you will have to pay it , i would see if you can get one from a local breaker i know you said they said they will snap but they may manage to get one out saving you some good money.

This was making 221 bhp from a b16 . 13.1 pistons fully lightened and balanced loads of head work . peck power is 9500 rpm . But it cost big money and a near to engine melting map to get that power . Rich.

For that money mate its something you put up with . as to sort it will cost you aleast what the car cost so its just not worth it. unless it gets to you that much and you have the spare cash

Oem if they have lasted this long a new set will out last the car. but they are silly mo.ey from honda thats why people fit poly bushes look them up under rover 400 or 45 they are cheaper.

Its the 1/4 that looks well off colour to . no polish is going to change the colour its the fact to parts of the car have been painted at differant time . even when you use a colour code the list shades .ie angle light . dark shape and so on if the colour change slightly over its life of production or is a pig to get a colour match i have seen upwards of 10 shades so if someone has picked the wrong one when refinishing a panel or the panels are painted at differant time in the factory they can and more than likely will be differant.

You will never match silver edge to edge mate its a nightmare , to get it 100% you will have to paint the door you have brought the door next to it and the 1/4 panel , this is called blending even then silvers base coat seem to go cloudy and the more paint you put on the darker the silver will get.

They usally have a clear plastic cover over them and they and behind the dash on the passager side just above the kick panel there are all just hanging there mate thats how there are so you can get at them easy if you need them . Rich.

It will fit no problem you will just need the rear seat latchs that bolt to the body for the seat backs to lock onto as they are different .
