Cheers mate, It's sagging between the screws and the rear lights, it's tight with the body where the screws are. How do I fix the sagging in between these?
-
There is a gap between rear bumper and bodywork, (between rear wheel and rear lights), on both sides, one side there is a bigger gap. I can push up bumper to meet with the bodywork, seems there is something loose or not clipped in. Took off rear lights and there in there clips and the screws beside each of the rear wheels that hold the bumper to the bodywork are tight with the bodywork. Had a quick look and don't know how/what to get at to fix this??? Any suggestions!!!

Cheers for the info, what I meant to say was, to prevent doing damage to the the threads on the hub. I seen sometimes that the nut is fairly tight to get off even when it is not over tightened when putting wheel on. I got a new set of alloys and got the adapter for the nuts, not standard nuts, adapter fits into nut. Don't know what there called!!!!!!! It hapened me before, when using this adapter, I rounded the adapter/nut and had to bring it to a garage to get it off, could have being overtightened by previous owner, or hadn't being taken off for a while, not sure. So I was just looking for something to prevent this from happening to my new alloys. I do give the hubs and wheels a good cleaning with a wire brush, now and again.

Would it help to put grease onto wheel nut threads to prevent them from seizing?

It seems to be difficult enough to find the rover parts to fit the mb6, not many rovers around for parts!!!

Just looking to find out about which rust preventer is best? I have a bit of rust on the rear wheel arches and also on the bottom of one of the rear arches beside the side skirt, I have already attempted to repair this myself about 6 months ago, also used a rust preventer, but rust is comming through again (blistering). Has any heard of the stuff that turns rust into solid metal??? Seen Ed China on wheeler dealers using this stuff and it's some sort of chemical that turns rust into solid metal!! Tried looking for it but can't find it?? Has anyone heard of this stuff?? Would you think it would be any good? I was going to try for the second time and fix the rear arches with this stuff, if I can get it? It's really bothering me and don't want it to start getting worse, as otherwise the car is mint and I want to keep it that way. Any suggestions, without being very costly? Cheers.

Brought the car up to garage, they fitted my second hand ac compressor (cost me 30euro), re-gased the system, no leaks. Hey Presto have AIR CON!!!! Took 2 hrs, and 150 euros! Happy with that, was bugging me with no air con.

Ye did this, easy job. Now no rattle of the registration surround!! Cheers!

Hi Rich, I thought these were standard, all mb6's I've seen have these. If ye look at the pic of my car, it's on cotm 2010. Black rubber front bumper strips each side of the front reg!
