  2. Right ok I take it there is not one in a bag in the tank ? When I got my tank it came with a new rubber taped in a bag on the tank . Right the one that fits the bolt in sender is a diff size than the twist fit coz the hole are dif sizes ,so if the uk mc,MB was all fitted with bolt in senders then the rubber will not fit ( I still never found out if honda used diff tanks in the uk .when I was looking for a sender they said there was loads of different ones and could not help arrrrrrrr dam honda just put on the car what ever they pull out the parts bin ) .

Have you got the twist fit sender ? If not the may be one on that if so it should prob do the job . Or you could get in touch where you got the tank and ask if they can send you one .

  4. Nice same as mine ,yep a twist sender type will be needed lol now one thing you may find it hard to twist it in with the new rubber and I mean hard it had two of us one to press it down while one tapped it around with a screw driver and hammer . One thing to do is drop the rubber in a cup of very hot water to make it soft may help did for me :) . O and just test the sender before you do put it in coz if its a hard fit god help you getting back out lol

  5. Yes a would agree when you start dropping in a diff engines no matter how easy a job the engine drop is or sounds there is always more cost than you think. ( yes there will always be some one who has dropped a big engine in and cost them next to nothing to do and was simple and had no probs for years lol) . But in general it can cost and have probs you did not see comming . All that said go for it it's good to see people doing things not or very rarely seen before :). :). :). Good lucky hope to see a H22 in an M

  6. Yer do have to say N/A honda That's how it should be :). But in these times it would just cost so much to go n/a to keep up with other manufactures and with the engines getting smaller they would have no chance . Long live good old epic N/A  I still like turbo, super charge  I think it's just you can really turbo any engine to make more power ( how long it lasts is a different point) and job done :) with N/A is more work and you need a good engine to start with :) ie honda . Not saying there are no other engines before anyone has a go :lo:

  7. Ok well for trinity D my tank was not leaking it had been left with no fuel in and was rusting from the the inside ,it had loads of crap in it no matter how many times I cleaned it out it would rust up as quick as you could put petrol in .so I did not want crap going in the filters as they where already getting brown so the best thing was to go new . People have put second hand tanks in no prob ,remember there will always be a risk going second .

Right now on to the new one yes the M has two holes the hole you can see under the cover in the boot is for the sender .so the sender hole is on the drivers side ,the pump hole is the one next to the filling side you can see the neck for the filling pipe , now both the tanks look like mine and the sender looks like the twist lock not bolt in ,so if your sender is bolt in it will not fit on the tank you would need to track down a twist sender ,this is what I had to do not sure why honda did this but they like to make some things a pain ( lol) . Ok I not sure if its the MA that had twist fit and then went to bolt on the MB or they just did Radom senders depending on what tank they had in stock . Hope this helps anything else you want to know just ask I see if I can help

  8. Mm I will try find out where I got it from not saved the link so will have to go off looking see if I can find where I got it but it was around £120 I think . Plus you need to check the type off fitting of the sender unit cos the new tank I got had screw type fitting and the one that came off was bolt ,so what a pain I had to go on a mission to find a different sender
