how long did it take for it to come back down ??? im thinking im twenty six in two months and mabe if i wait this will help it go down a little more and i would of had this new license two months then rather than ten hours ????

i joined here a while ago when i had a civic .... now i am looking to buy another, but long story short i had my license revoked under the new drivers act..today i resat my test now getting insurance is a nightmare , i am a 25yr old male with 2 years no claims and i got a quote today on a 1.4 civic sport for £2400 from admiral....i managed to get this down to £1761.50 with someone else.... these quotas are with my father as a named driver .... upon adding my brother to the policy who is 3 years younger than me and has a year more no claims and me changing the car to a civic 1.4 s i got it down to £1200... if i say i have had my license for coming up for 4 years my quotes are alot lower than this with my points and no named drivers..... so what do i need to do... what is required of me by law... as technically i have been driving since 2009... however with my license being revoked i did not drive for a year or so until i resat my test.... any ideas on what is the best course of action as it appears that i am being given new driver quotas regardless of my no claims ?????

well my brothers seen my dads old one again and he was talking to someone who works at a garage and i can confirm its jsut had new piston rings and its on 190k now

just over 70k on w reg... my dad had a r reg with 167k on it when he got rid of it 2 years ago and i still see it driving around today .... which is exactly the reason i bought a civic
