I took my time getting he holes even and in the right place but i would -/+ 0.2mm which is not bad. The holes nearly 19mm and the nuts have a shoulder that goes into the holes to locate. Cheers guys! The ally centres are going black and i will do my best to polish up the dishes. Not long now, will order some tyres at the end of the month.

They are done! Did a trial fit at lunch, look so good so far! :D Next is painting!

the 2nd time after washing them i soaked them in washing up liquid and washed them again, in the boot now going to aim for tuesday evening!

Attacked the 2 wheels with paint today, ive had to use nitromors twice and theres still a few little bits on them! Objective this week is to drill the centres and do a trial fit! looking forward to that

The nuts! in the original holes, just need to drill them now maybe next week

ordered some nuts form germany of all places on ebay. Saw a great spot today, a forest layby with sun shining through, i thought great on the way back ill stop and do some pics, that was short lived lol bloody weather!

lol i dont think i need to remove the cans guts, its a bit of a untested mod i think soo we will have to see Trying to sort nuts for the wheels, hopefully ill find some time soon to drill them

Yes nikh25 i had a 1000 yamaha and i was told it has too much filling it it so i sold that and bought a 400 vfr race can! lol and i can take the inside out it should be fine but i will find out in couple of months I can weld but havent pur chased a mig kit yet... ...so grinding & a hammer will have to do for now

cheers boys, its looking better, made a make shift temp bench out of the old wardrobe Also met a bloke from the audi service centre across from us, i had to weld a gear stick plate for him, hes got a modded 400 torque bora and he loved the accord thought was really retro which was nice. i finally have somewhere to jack the accord up and i can leave for days on end lol

And we're in! what an effort but i have moved in! the van was so handy despite being a reno traffic. The garage shed extension is actually bigger than i remember but bad news theres damp everywhere! all the main beams i can see are soaked, once i rip the total DIY bodgy cealing he put in there i can see the damage but i rekon its the roof nails. Using the pieces of chip board from the old wardrobe i will make a bench with draws. Getting there now, i dont think ill find the time to do my wheels this week lol.

hopefully bidding on a big roll cab for even more tools!

yes finally a garage! the previous bloke has done a shed like extension on the side, its a bit diy bodge, so im going to knock it down and make it bigger! so i will have lots of space to put wheels! lol

lol today i had a chance to whip off the rear wheel and pressed a rim to the end of the studs, the offset was like et5 lol so i think a 5mm spacer might be needed and i drilled a plate with a 60 degree center drill and it didnt look quite right to me, i need to get a tapered wheel nut and make sure is seats well, soo sry boys wheels will have to wait till next week as im moving into my first house and my first ever owned garage

I did think think about a hubcentric spacers but has given me the idea maybe i should see if they will need them, would be easier to fit that way, The info i did find was that they are ET22 which is more aggresive than u think and they might just be spot on but i dont know yet. As for the original holes i will make some plugs up, to make it a bit more pleasing to the eye.

Had a go at jet washing the wheels, not much difference but they are in my boot and i will be doing the new holes this week and if ive got time a quick pic of trial fitting! stay tuned!

Yesterday I tackled the paint on the 2 rims, I got all the paint off the dish but inbetween the hole/squares is prooving differcult. I used gd quality paint thinner but I needs to be chipped off hmmm.. Thanks for the positive comments guys

Attacked the rust! went like a inraged rabbit with the wire brush and then used a drill bit wire brush and got most of it off! The 2 that are badly painted were the worst, quite a bit came off but all painted up now looking gd
