  1. The spigot rings came yay! Starting the resto tonight and will load lots of pics of before and I bought hamerite black on rust paint stuff for the inner rim where the tyre goes on to stop da rusting
  2. You got a thing for bronze wheels dont you tom ? lol
  3. Will be going into work sunday for a few hours and getting the rust and corrosion off the wheels, then use a paint thinner to get all traces of paint off, i will then drill the new holes, been considering getting the original holes welded up so its flush i dont know how easy it will be. Also they dont fit on our medium size lathe soo if i can get away with it ill put them on one of the cnc machines! Mate at work suggested i should paint the square flat bits gold the rest of the centre black, i think i should do just black... And ordered the new spigot rings
  4. Wheels arrived! Not quite all the same as in the photos, all the cast ally centres will need brushing/sanding and the rims look gdjust need a polish and the lips need wire brush with sealant but going to look epic! More pics to come!
  5. They are 14" so same size as i got now, from what i found the interweb the offset is ET+22 soo could be interesting when i get them tomorrow!!! Pics will come soon!
  6. i won them for £46! bargain, was 2nd thinking maybe i should get 15's but they will doo, cant wait to get them
  7. i need a side on shot of the car to do it, ive been searching for any honda's with these wheels and i havent found anything so far thats gd!
  8. Hell yes, listen to us we know best! look at mine, keeping it standard but im fitting nice wheels and lowering it and thats all it needs!
  9. Might get these, they are 4 x 114.3 but i rekon i can clock them on a milling machine and drill 4 x 100 holes inbetween the current holes. OR if the offset isnt that great i can make 20mm hubcentric spaces which means i wont have to drill the wheels... what u rekon ? Will look proper retro with some dish!
  10. very nice, id have to say thats the best example of a mk3 supra ive ever seen well done, ill be watching this build!
  11. Dont get me wrong the boxer engine has a great sound one a kind but im the sort of person that does something different and if it upsets dedicated scooby boys im happy lol rwd v8 all the way!
  12. I know this might sound bad lol but the missus has said i can keep the accord when i get the S2000 also id like to do a V8 powered rwd scoob one day
  13. well ive been told by a mate that hardtop version have a softtop tuck away so i can have both hard and soft top. Ill deffo aim for a hardtop now She is going well so far, id still like to do some cheap mods to make her look cool while i still have it, a bit of lowering and some cheap cheap wheels!
  14. SHE LIVES!!! got the time to put the distributor back together earlier today and it was exactly the same with no spark! that really annoyed me! then i thought out of maybe desperation maybe i should try the cheap rotor arm i bought just before xmas, BOOM i get a spark! had to do some searching to get the firing order for the leads but she runs sweet as a nut now woop! Feels strange to drive it but makes me happy ive got my own car again What happens if it rains with the hardtop is off ? drive faster !? and does it stiffen it up alot you think ?
  15. This still going or on a winter hold ?
  16. wow weee that was epic, the vtec combined with the digi dash was awesome and its like driving a go kart! everything is tight and steering wheel is so small lol unluckly the guy had to come with me but i still smashed the pedal 1st to 3rd was crazy addictive! It didnt start well tho, the guy said it was at the other lot... he'll be back in 20 mins and then suddenly he was back after 10 to get a battery jump pack. I could see rust on the disks and the drivers indicator was popped out, tbh it wasnt worth the 7k he was asking! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111090178792?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 Verdict i want one! i want the hardtop but at the same time would be handy if it did rain i could put the hood on i dunno.....hmmmm....
  17. Still havent been to the car, am just recoving from a man flu and it gets so dark at the mo. Off to test drive a 03 S2000 for the first time to get a feel for the car
  18. update well 2 days ago i got a call from the slick auto parts about the distributor, they tested it twice and for 2 hours and its working perfect! thats great it works but now i have no clue what is at fualt, they seem to think it could be the power source or a connection on the coil. I got it back today and hopefully ill find some time to get it back on sat and hey it might work but getting annoyed at the moment just want it to be working 1 slight bit of gd news, once ive sorted my misses new car out i can get a new car yay! hopefully have about 4k to play with....been looking at S2000, s13/14 and various other stuff..
  19. Lucky dude, she looks good, wish mine was still chugging along, miss having it now and my own car in general. Are they type r wheels ?
  20. Also seen a H22 vtec powered EK4 civic im tempted by but no mine is still a non runner as i havent sent away my distributor as im still on my honeymoon lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-civic-2-2-/121238369027?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c3a5eb303
  21. Wow check this beaut out, the headlight wipers, sunroof and spoiler are enough to make me want it!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1988-HONDA-ACCORD-2-0-EXI-AUTO-/281226064873?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item417a6133e9
  22. yeah its the A20a2 dude, spoke to the shop who has a new distributor here which is £130 and i can return it within 7 days if it doesnt change anything but for £90 they will recon my old distributor with new parts inside. Think im going for that.
  23. i could try earthing the distributor but thats what could be the problem thats its earthing out inside. Its just a headache but ill fix it.
  24. Well today's proding didnt get anywhere, got frustrated and took the whole distributor unit off, it looked ok but i can see rusty parts behind the plate inside. I rinsed it out with wd40 and reassembled and still no spark! So its got to be something in the distbritutor i think, looking for a recon/new/ gd condition one, ive seen ones from £500 to £150! but the cheaper ones are from the U.S, 24-7 spares has one for £168 delivered but i dont know if its new or even the right one, calling them tomorrow.
