  1. I have never voted before aaaaand... it's really difficult to choose! So many great MB's! But I will vote tonight Super fast EDIT: Voted!
  2. I know I said this a few times now but it's gotta be done! Maz, I did have the opportunity to pick up a MG ZS suspension setup including the rear ARB from scrappy (same car I took the exhaust off quite recently) but I didn't have the right tools! Thing is I cannot just fit any MG ZS suspension on my Civic because of different spring rates and I will have to get lowering springs too. So its probably easier just to get lowering springs and put them on the standard shocks for now. Then when I have some £££ saved, I will consider getting a proper coilovers!!
  3. RIGHT! I am going to be brave now by lowering my car in the new year! I am sick of looking at it seeing it nearly done, but the arch gap is so big you can park a couple cars in there... It looks so out of proportion! So like I said before, I am going for the cheaper option by lowering springs. Hopefully a 2nd hand set will turn up locally as there are always Civic's being broke for parts. Either a set of 35mm or 40mm will do... It might cost a bomb when I declare it to the insurance company but I will sort something out
  4. Love how some proper kit going on this M... I was going to mention about the reflectors/lenses in the headlights but obviously it shows the light was all over the place! Does look cool without the reflectors/lenses though
  5. Looks cool! And what Nick says, I always reset the ecu after any mod has been done on the engine. You might not feel the difference after but you never know. I have noticed a difference after resetting the ecu when I changed the exhaust manifold
  6. The rocker cover looks sweet! And that is a nice big update on suspension! Can't wait to see it fitted I had the opportunity to get MG ZS 180 suspension and rear ARB from scrappy (when I picked up that back-box recently) but I didn't have the right tools on me at the time. Went back there on the weekend and it was all gone
  7. Oh dear... glad I'm not the only one who had the exact same problems! I snapped the original dash trim to fit the carbon look-a-like dash trim, so that didn't really matter anyway... Door handle clips broke when I tempted to replace both front window motors (even they was nearly impossible to replace) There are some very frustrating bits and bobs on these MB's but I'm use to it due to working on bloody Renault's every day Better luck next time (if you haven't mulled the car already...)
  8. Yeah the cat can heat up to around 700 centigrade. And have that sort of heat in the engine bay doesn't do it much good. But then, Honda are not stupid so there must be a reason why the cat is in the engine bay Thanks mate! I only had the D16 manifold itself but I hope to get a exhaust system and cat from a MB4. Or just get a center exhaust custom made and a cat to bolt on the D16 manifold
  9. Loving the pimping light As for the Civic*Scene sticker, I personally still have it at the top of the windscreen but is a tad too small. Quite a difficult one really haha
  10. That isn't far off from 56.1 (Honda bore size) but the wheel nuts/bolts should centralize the wheels anyway. The bore size on my alloys are slightly bigger than 56.1 and haven't got spigot rings fitted. But I guess it's better to be on the safe side
  11. Now that's a bargain for those wheels! I really like the look of them. VW is also a 4x100 stud pattern so these wheels should go straight on, not sure if VW have the same bore size as our Civics though...
  12. Yeah I hope to get a 4-2-1 mani in the new year! There wasn't a shield fitted to this manifold and the other one didn't fit. But atleast the manifold isn't going to be as hot without a cat now
  13. Cool! Any pictures of the exhaust fitted? I am thinking about going for a alarm system soon, because some knob-gobblers damaged the grill on my car..
  14. Check this site out Skitz, I got a lot of help from here and covers everything on all D-Series engines! http://www.d-series.org/
  15. Probably is exactly the same as this one came off a D16Z6 (not sure whats the engine code on the MB4) How's the engine swap coming along on your MA8?
  16. I'm buying that jumper!! I would have that sticker on top going across the windscreen..
  17. I still haven't got round getting a video of my car... bloody Cornish weather
  18. Welcome! I quite like the idea of the EG lip going on a MB, will be interesting to see!
  19. Both cars are looking great! I like the last picture too and what Nick said, any style of modifying works on our Civics
  20. Oh and nice tyres by the way! They should work a treat with those ratings!
